Letter from the Student Council President
Greetings Senior Football MRISA participants,
Welcome to Vientiane International School, VIS!
First of all, it is a great honour for VIS to be hosting this year’s MRISA Senior Football tournament.
On behalf of the secondary Student Council and the entire school community, I’d like to take this opportunity to give you a very warm welcome to our school and the people here. We are all excited to have you with us.
MRISA sports tournaments are truly intense. It requires your full attention, commitment, effort, and skills to be able to perform outstandingly. We wish you the best.
Football requires you to run, pass, kick, communicate, and most importantly, work as a team to be able to score and take home the winning title. It is not as easy as it sounds and I believe you know that too.
Therefore, during this MRISA we are hosting here at VIS, I challenge every one of you to play as well as you can, kick as hard as you can, score as much as you can, and work as a team as much as you can out there on the field.
It will be a tough competition under the heat here in Laos, but despite that, I hope all of you take this opportunity to proudly represent your schools and strive for the titles you deserve.
I hope we all come together as different schools, making new friends and reconnecting with old ones as a way to continue the growth of our connections and bonds as MRISA schools.
Good luck out there on the field and may great games be played!
Sincerely,
Joey Keophonexay
